The Melie Maharat Competitions were held in Ilam on April 21, 2010, in two phases: written exam and circuit construction. I won first place and qualified for the national competition.

The Melie Maharat (National Skills) Competitions were held in Ilam on April 21, 2010, over three days, under the direct supervision of the Technical and Vocational Training Organization of the country. The atmosphere was filled with focus, precision, and intense competition among the top technical talents of the nation. What set this competition apart from other robotics events was its dual structure. Unlike competitions limited to robot performance or coding speed, here participants had to compete in two completely different phases: Phase 1: Written Exam In this phase, participants' theoretical knowledge was evaluated across various fields including electronics, electrical circuits, semiconductor components, analog and digital circuit design principles, safety in working with equipment, and technical standards. The questions were designed to measure the depth of technical knowledge, circuit analysis ability, and problem-solving skills. Phase 2: Circuit Construction After passing the written phase, it was time for practical execution. In this phase, participants had to design and implement an electronic circuit based on a specific scenario, within a limited time. Precision in component placement, correct soldering, adherence to layout principles, avoiding short circuits, and ultimately the correct operation of the circuit according to the competition requirements – all these factors determined the final score. I participated in these competitions with doubled motivation, after months of theoretical study and practical training. In the days leading up to the competition, I had spent hours solving electronics problems and designing various circuits. In the workshop, I had repeatedly practiced building complex circuits to increase my speed and precision. On competition days, I passed the written exam with confidence, providing accurate and well-analyzed answers. In the practical phase, I remained calm and implemented the required circuit step by step with great care. From the correct placement of components to clean and professional soldering, I did everything meticulously. When I powered up the circuit and the indicator lights lit up correctly, an indescribable feeling of pride and peace filled me. At the end of the competition, the judges announced the results. With expectant eyes and a trembling heart, I heard my name called as the first-place winner. I won first place. This victory was not just a trophy or plaque, but a launching pad to the national competition. By achieving this title, I earned the qualification to compete in the national stage of the competition.
